The Floating Cutting Unit kit 3-plex mower is designed to provide a fully oating cutterhead conguration, which when tted

with a Smooth Front Roller kit (Model 02822) or Grooved Front Roller kit (Model 02823), allows the cutterheads to closely

follow the ground contours.

The way in which the machine is operated and maintained will have a profound effect on performance and reliability.

These instructions cover the tting and maintenance of the Floating Cutting Unit kit, if further instruction is required please

contact the Toro company using the address at the top of these instructions.

This instruction sheet should be regarded as part of the machine, as it gives essential information regarding machine

safety, specications, assembly and maintenance.

For all other information refer to your Operator’s Manual and Parts List.

ASSEMBLY Assemble the floating head by following the steps below: 1. Refer to the relevant Operator’s Manual for cutterhead installation instructions. 2. Each cutterhead can be converted from fixed to floating configuration, by following the instructions below. 3. Release the cutterhead from the arm by removing the M24 nyloc nut and plain washer from the cutterhead pivot pin. Refer to the relevant machine Operator’s Manual and Fig 2. Fig 2 4. Draw the cutterhead off of the pin.
