Removing the batteries:
After removing the filter, take the retaining rubber
band off and remove the two contact caps from the
contact tags on the battery.
Please handle the battery carefully – there may be a
small residual charge in it which could cause damage
if its contacts are bridged together. It is therefore
advisable to transport the battery in a plastic bag.
There are two possible ways of disposing it:
• Take it to the toxic waste disposal facility provided
by your local authority.
• Hand it in at one of the Tornado Service Centers.
For the sake of the environment do not throw away
packaging material.
• The cardboard box can be taken to paper recycling
facilities.
• Plastic bag made of polyethylene (PE) can be taken
to recycling facilities of PE collection depots.
• The filter parts are made of Polystyrene (PS). They
do not contain any CFCs. They can be taken to
recycling facilities of PS collection depots.
Your local Department for the Environment will be
able to give you advice as to where collecting
depots and recycling facilities are available.
The symbol on the product or on its packaging
indicates that this product may not be treated as
household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to
the applicable collection point for the recycling of
electrical and electronic equipment. By ensuring this
product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent
potential negative consequences for the environment
and human health, which could otherwise be caused
by inappropriate waste handling of this product. For
more detailed information about recycling of this
product, please contact your local city office, your
household waste disposal service or the shop where
you purchased the product.
Retrait des batteries :
Après avoir retiré le filtre, ôtez le ruban plastique de
retenue et enlevez les deux capsules de contact des
cosses de contact de la batterie.
Veuillez manipuler la batterie avec précaution : elle
peut contenir une petite charge résiduelle,
susceptible de causer des dégâts en cas de
connexion des contacts. Il est donc conseillé de
transporter la batterie dans un sac plastique.
Pour jeter la batterie, vous pouvez :
• la déposer au centre d’élimination des déchets
toxiques mis à disposition par votre collectivité
locale ;
• la remettre à l’un de nos Centre Service Agréé Tornado.
Par respect de l’environnement, ne jetez pas les
matériaux d’emballage :
• Vous pouvez remettre la boîte en carton à un centre
de recyclage du papier ;
• Vous pouvez déposer le sac plastique en
polyéthylène (PE) auprès d’un centre de collecte et
de recyclage du polyéthylène ;
• Les éléments du filtre sont en polystyrène (PS). Ils ne
contiennent aucun CFC. Vous pouvez les déposer
auprès d’un centre de collecte et de recyclage du
polystyrène.
Votre Agence locale pour l’environnement peut vous
indiquer l’emplacement des centres de collecte et de
recyclage.
Le symbole situé sur le produit ou sur son emballage,
indique que ce produit ne doit pas être traité comme un
déchet ménager. Au lieu de cela, il doit être déposé
auprès du centre de collecte approprié, spécialisé dans le
recyclage d'appareils électriques et électroniques. En
veillant à jeter correctement ce produit, vous contribuez
à la prévention de risques potentiels pour
l’environnement et la santé humaine, suite à une
mauvaise gestion des déchets issus de ce produit. Pour
plus d’informations sur le recyclage de ce produit,
veuillez contacter le bureau municipal le plus proche, le
service de gestion des déchets ménagers ou le magasin
où vous avez acheté ce produit.
