Service Search

After connecting up the digital receiver, you will need to per-

form a service search.

NOTE

If there is no service stored, you will not be able to access all

menus. Service is another name for Channel.

3.1 Searching for broadcasting services

This digital receiver can be operated with both ﬁxed antenna

and motorized antenna. You have to conﬁgure antenna set-

tings according to your antenna system in the following order:

1. Conﬁgure LNB settings. Refer to §3.1.1.

2. Set the position of your desired satellites if you have a

motorized antenna. You can control the antenna in DiS-

EqC 1.2 mode or USALS mode. Refer to §3.1.2 for DiS-

EqC 1.2, and refer to §3.1.3 for USALS.

3. Perform a service search.
