8.2 Base key functions
OGM = outgoing message
8.3 Outgoing messages
8.3.1 Recording outgoing messages (OGM 1 or OGM 2)
1. Press .
2. Press or repeatedly, select ‘ANSWER MACHINE’.
3. Press to confirm.
4. Press or repeatedly, select ‘RECORD OGM’.
5. Press to confirm.
6. Select ‘ANSWER & REC.’ or ‘ANSWER ONLY’ and confirm
.
7. Select ‘RECORD OGM’ and confirm .
• Start speaking in the microphone of the handset.
8. When finished press to stop the recording.
• The recorded message will be played. The handset will return to
‘ANSWER & REC.’

Select the answering mode
1. Press .
2. Press or repeatedly, select ‘ANSWER MACHINE’.
3. Press to confirm.
4. Press or repeatedly, select ‘ANSWER MODE’.
5. Press to confirm.
6. Select ‘ANSWER & REC.’ or ‘ANSWER ONLY’ and confirm
.
8.4 Turning answering machine on/off
If the answering machine is on, the message counter on the base and
the icon on the handset will light up and the machine will automatically
pick up the line after a number of rings.
On the base:
• Press to switch on the answering machine. The Message
counter will be turned on.
• Press to switch off the answering machine. The Message
counter will be turned off.
On the handset:
1. Press .
2. Press or repeatedly, select ‘ANSWER MACHINE’.
3. Press to confirm.
4. Press or repeatedly, select ‘ANSWER ON/OFF’.
5. Press to confirm.
6. Select ‘ON’ or ‘OFF’ and confirm .

When there are no new messages, you can enter the ‘ANSWER
MACHINE’ menu directly by pressing .
If there are new messages you can use this key as a
playback key.
If the memory is full, the answering machine will go
automatically in answering only mode.
