Clip 160 1 Installatie • Open de batterijruimte onderaan het toestel en steek er 4 AAA-batterijen in of als u een adapter gebruikt, steekt u het ene uiteinde in het stopcontact en het andere uiteinde in de adapteraansluiting (1) aan de achterzijde van de Clip 160. • Verbind het ene uiteinde van de telefoonlijn met de wandcontactdoos van het telefoonnet en het andere uiteinde met de achterzijde van het toestel “LINE” (2).
Clip 160 3 4 Taalkeuze De Clip 160 beschikt over 4 talen. Om de gewenste taal te selecteren, gaat u als volgt te werk : • Druk gedurende 5 seconden op de “Omhoog”-toets. • Druk nogmaals op de “Omhoog”-toets om de gewenste taal te selecteren. • Druk op de Terugbeltoets om deze ingave te bevestigen. Het toestel gaat naar het volgende menu ‘Datum en Tijd instellen’. • • • • Druk op de “Omhoog”-toets om het eerste cijfer te selecteren.

Clip 160 d) TOTAAL = Het totaal aantal oproepen wordt weergegeven. e) HANDSET OPNEMEN = Als u een nummer wil terugbellen, geeft de nummermelder aan dat u de hoorn dient op te nemen of de handenvrij-functie moet aanzetten. f) FOUT = Er heeft zich een fout voorgedaan bij het ontvangen van het oproepnummer. g) BEGIN LIJST = Het begin van de lijst. h) EINDE LIJST = Het einde van de lijst, er volgen geen oproepen meer. i) Rpt = Aantal dezelfde ontvangen oproepen. Het toestel bewaart de laatste oproep.
Clip 160 8 Namen ingeven in de Caller-ID Lijst Aan elke binnengekomen oproep kan een naam toegekend worden. Hierdoor kan men achteraf de oproeplijst gebruiken als telefoonboek om nummers op te zoeken. Door het toevoegen van een naam aan een nummer, verschijnt de naam eveneens op de display als hetzelfde telefoonnummer nogmaals binnenkomt. Als er tijdens deze programmatie gedurende 30 sec. geen enkele toets wordt ingedrukt, keert het toestel automatisch terug naar standby modus.
Clip 160 Als aan een oproep een naam wordt toegekend, wordt deze niet gewist als het geheugen vol is. Als het geheugen vol is, worden enkel de oudste oproepen zonder naam gewist. 10 Een nummer van de Caller-ID lijst oproepen • Ga met de “Omhoog” en “Omlaag”-toetsen naar het nummer dat u wil bellen. • Druk op de Terugbeltoets. Het nummer op de display wordt automatisch gevormd. • Neem de hoorn van de haak als de boodschap “HANDSET OPNEMEN” op de display verschijnt.
Clip 160 Het toestel moet in standby modus zijn. Zodra de batterijen vervangen zijn, drukt u op de Terugbeltoets en het toestel treedt terug in werking. 12 Garantie Garantie : 1 jaar Contacteer uw dealer en vraag naar de gratis omruilgarantie. Opgelet : Vergeet uw aankoopbewijs niet bij uw toestel te steken.

Clip 160 • Maintenez enfoncée la touche “Monter” pendant 5 sec. • Appuyez de nouveau sur la touche “Monter” pour sélectionner la langue désirée. • Appuyez sur la touche Rappel pour confirmer. L’appareil passe à la programmation suivante : ‘Réglage de la Date et de l’Heure’. 2 3 Touches 1 Touche “Monter” 2 Touche “Descendre” 3 Touche Effacer 4 Touche Rappel 4 Réglage du numéro zonal et du numéro du préfixe 4.1 Réglage du numéro zonal Vous avez la possibilité de programmer un numéro zonal de 5 chiffres.
Clip 160 • • • Appuyez sur la touche ”Descendre“ pour aller au chiffre suivant avec le curseur. Appuyez sur la touche Rappel pour confirmer. L’appareil passe au réglage suivant : “Réglage du numéro du préfixe”. Numéro zonal ----755-755-755-755-- Remarque : Vous pouvez effacer le numéro zonal en utilisant la touche Effacer.
Clip 160 • Appuyez sur la touche “Monter” pour introduire le premier chiffre. • Appuyez sur la touche “Descendre” pour passer au chiffre suivant. • Vous confirmez les réglages corrects en appuyant sur la touche Rappel. • L’appareil retourne au mode veille. 6 d) TOTAL = Le nombre total des appels apparaît à l’écran. e) DECROCHER = Quand vous voulez rappeler un numéro, l’appareil indique qu’il faut décrocher ou activer la fonction mains-libres.
Clip 160 7 Liste Caller-ID Quand vous utilisez l’appareil pour la première fois ou après remplacement des batteries, le suivant s’affiche : 01/12 12:00 DD/MM HH:MM 8 La liste Caller-ID conserve les données des 90 derniers appels téléphoniques entrés. Appuyez sur la touche “Monter”. L’appel précédent (plus vieux) est affiché. Après l’appel le plus vieux, “DEBUT DE LISTE” s’affiche. Appuyez sur la touche “Descendre” pour afficher l’appel suivant (plus récent).
Clip 160 3 Appuyez sur les touches “Monter“ et “Descendre“ pour sélectionner la lettre cor recte. Pour avancer plus vite, maintenez enfoncées ces touches pendant 2 sec. 4 Appuyez sur la touche Effacer pour effacer une lettre incorrecte. 5 Appuyez sur la touche Rappel pour déplacer le curseur dans la direction correcte. 6 Répétez les étapes 3 à 5 pour introduire les autres lettres. 7 Après introduction du nom, appuyez pendant 2 sec. sur la touche Rappel pour confirmer. 9 mémoire est pleine.
Clip 160 10 Rappel d’un numéro de la mémoire Caller-ID • Passez au numéro que vous voulez appeler en vous servant des touches “Monter“ et “Descendre“. • Appuyez sur la touche Rappel. Le numéro affiché sera composé automatiquement. • Décrochez quand le message ‘DECROCHER’ apparaît sur l’écran. Toutes les données mémorisées resteront conservées à condition que vous remplaciez les batteries dans une minute. L’appareil doit se trouver dans le mode veille.
Clip 160 Cet équipement a reçu l’agrément, conformément à la décision Réseau Autriche Belgique Danemark Finlande France Allemagne Grèce Irlande Italie 482/98/CE (TBR 21) du Conseil, concernant la connexion paneuropéenne de terminal unique aux réseaux téléphoniques publics commutés (RTPC). Toutefois, comme il existe des différences d’un pays à l’autre entre les RTPC, l’agrément en soi ne constitue pas une garantie absolue de fonctionnement optimal à chaque point de terminaison du réseau RTPC.

Without this subscription, the clip function does not work ! Installation • Open the battery cover underneath the unit and insert 4 AAA batteries or, if you use an adaptor, connect one end of the adaptor cable to the electric socket and the other end to the back of the Clip 160 (1).
Clip 160 • Press the Call Back button to confirm. The Clip 160 proceeds to the next menu : ‘Date and Time Settings’. 4 2 Buttons 1 Up button 2 Down button 3 Delete button 4 Call Back button 3 Set the language The Clip 160 has 4 languages. Take the following steps to select the desired language : • Press and hold the Up button for 5 seconds. • Press the Up button again to select the desired language. Area code and Area Prefix setting 4.1 Area Code setting You can program an area code of 5 digits.
Clip 160 4.2 Area Prefix setting You can program a prefix code the same way as described in the Area code setting. When a phone number comes in with the first digits different from the Area code, the Area prefix will be added in front of the incoming telephone number. After confirming the correct Area Prefix setting, by pressing the Call back button, the unit goes to the next menu “Date and time settings”.
Clip 160 6 Display indications a) OUT OF AREA = The incoming call has been sent through by a telephone provider that does not offer the Caller-ID service. (incl. long distance and international calls). b) PRIVATE = The caller’s number can not be displayed because he has restricted his number/name from being sent to the receiving party. It’s a private number. c) NEW = The number of new calls is shown on the display. d) TOTAL = The total number of calls is shown on the display.
Clip 160 The Caller-ID list maintains the data of the last 90 incoming calls. Press the Up button to show the previous (older) calls on the display. After the oldest call “TOP OF LIST” appears on the display. Press the Down button and the display shows the next (more recent) call. After the most recent call, the display shows “END OF LIST”. 8 Take the following steps to enter a name: 1 Press the Up and Down buttons to go to the desired call. 2 Press and hold the Call Back button for 3 sec.
Clip 160 9 Erasing data If the list already contains 90 numbers and a new call comes in, the oldest call will be erased automatically and the new call will be stored in the memory. When you have added a name to a call, this call will not be erased when the memory is full. When the memory is full only the oldest calls without a name will be erased. b) To erase the entire list • Press and hold the Delete button for 5 sec., the entire list is erased, except for the calls that have been given a name.
Clip 160 replace the battery within the next two weeks or the memory will get lost when the battery is completely empty. Scroll through all the new messages before replacing the batteries. All the saved data will be preserved if you replace the batteries within 1 minute. The device has to be in standby mode. As soon as the batteries are replaced, press the Call Back button and the Clip 160 becomes operative. 12 Warranty Warranty : 1 year Ask your dealer for your free swop warranty.
Clip 160 The equipment has been approved to 98/482/EG (TBR 21) for pan-European single terminal connection to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). However, due to differences between the individual PSTNs provided in different countries the approval does not, of itself, give an unconditional assurance of successful operation on every PSTN network termination point. Clip 160 • • 2 3 4 Tasten 1 “Nach Oben” Taste 2 “Nach Unten” Taste 3 Löschtaste 4 Rückruftaste Drücken Sie nochmals die “Nach Oben” Taste um die gewünschte Sprache zu wählen. Drücken Sie zum Bestätigen die Rückruftaste. Das Gerät geht jetzt zur nächsten Programmation: “Datum und Uhrzeit einstellen”. Einstellung der Ortsnetzkennzahl und der erweiterte Vorwahl 4.1 Einstellung der Ortsnetzkennzahl Sie haben die Möglichkeit eine Ortsnetzkennzahl von 5 Ziffern zu programmieren.
Clip 160 • • • Drücken Sie die “Nach Unten”-Taste um, mit dem Cursor, zur nächsten Ziffer zu gehen. Drücken Sie die Rückruftaste zur Bestätigung. Das Gerät geht zur nächsten Einstellung : “Einstellung der erweiterten Vorwahl”. Ortsnetzkennzahl ----755-755-755-755-- Bemerkung : Die Ortsnetzkennzahl kann man mit der Löschtaste löschen.
Clip 160 • Drücken Sie die “Nach Oben” Taste um die erste Ziffer einzugeben, drücken Sie die “Nach Unten” Taste um zur nächsten Ziffer zu gehen. • Drücken Sie die Rückruftaste um die richtige Einstellung zu bestätigen. • Das Gerät ist wieder in Standby-Betriebszeit. 6 d) TOTAL = Die totale Anzahl der Anrufe erscheint auf dem Display. e) ABHEBEN = Wenn Sie eine Nummer rückrufen wollen, zeigt das Gerät, daß Sie den Hörer abheben müssen oder die Händefreifunktion/ Freisprecheinrichtung anschalten müssen.
Clip 160 7 Die Anrufer-ID-Liste Wenn Sie das Gerät zum ersten Mal benutzen oder nachdem Sie den Akku ersetzt haben, erscheint folgende Information auf dem Display: 01/12 -00NEUE 8 12 : 00 -00– TOTAL Die Anrufer-ID-Liste verwaltet die Daten der letzten 90 angekommenen Anrufe. Drücken Sie die “Nach Oben” Taste und der Display zeigt den letzten (älteren) Anruf. Nach dem ältesten Anruf erscheint “BEGINN LISTE” auf dem Display.
Clip 160 3 4 5 6 7 Der Cursor erscheint auf der 3. Zeile des Displays. Drücken Sie die “Nach Oben” und “Nach Unten” Tasten um die richtige Buchstabe zu wählen. Um schnell weiter zu gehen, müssen Sie die Tasten 2 Sekunden gedrückt halten. Drücken Sie die Löschtaste um eine falsch eingegebene Buchstabe zu löschen. Drücken Sie die Rückruftaste um den Cursor in die richtige Richtung zu bewegen. Wiederholen Sie Schritte 3 bis 5 um die anderen Buchstaben einzugeben.
Clip 160 • Drücken Sie zweimal die Löschtaste. Die angezeigte Rufnummer wird gelöscht. 11 Der leere Akku ersetzen Wenn der Akku fast leer ist, erscheint das Akku-Symbol auf dem Display. Wenn Sie dieses Symbol sehen, müssen Sie den Akku innerhalb von 2 Wochen ersetzen sondern geht der Speicher verloren wenn der Akku ganz leer ist. Bevor Sie die Akkus ersetzen, sollen Sie zuerst die neuen Anrufen durchgehen. Alle gespeicherte Daten werden behalten wenn Sie die Akkus innerhalb von 1 Minute ersetzen.
