4. Regularly check the contents of the dust cup by holding the vacuum upright.
Important:
Do not allow the contents to exceed the “MAX” level mark to prevent leakage or damage
to the appliance.
5. Always hold the vacuum cleaner in an upright or horizontal position, as illustrated.
Important:
DO NOT tilt the vacuum cleaner backwards, as this will cause liquids to enter the motor
unit and be expelled from the air outlet. This can damage the appliance.
10.2 Emptying the dust cup
1. Press the On/Off button (5) to turn the vacuum cleaner off.
2. Hold the dust cup with one hand, and then press the two release buttons (4) at the same
time to detach the dust cup.
Important:
To prevent damage, always hold the dust cup before pressing the release buttons, as the
dust cup will tilt out after the buttons are pressed.
3. Pull out the lter assembly (9, 11) from the dust cup.
4. Empty the contents of the dust cup.
5. Reattach the lter assembly (9, 11) and the dust cup (2) to the vacuum cleaner to continue
vacuuming.
11 Using the accessories
11.1 Scraper
Use the scraper (15) to wet vacuuum a large glass or window. The scraper can be used after
cleaning the glass surface with the spray bottle / scrubber.
1. Attach the scraper to the vacuum head.
2. Press the On/Off button to turn the vacuum cleaner on.
3. Vacuum from top to bottom, moving to the next section until the entire width of the surface
is covered.
11.2 Crevice tool
Use the crevice tool (14) to vacuum small corners. It can be used to vacuum liquids or dust.
11.3 Small brush
The small brush (16) can be used for a variety of purposes (e.g., sofas, beds, oors, curtains).
Only use this tool too vacuum dust.
11.4 Screen brush –OR– Upholstery nozzle
The upholstery nozzle (17) can be used to vacuum fabric sofas, (insect) window screens,
and various other fabric furnishings.
12 Using the spray bottle with scrubber
1. Fill the spray bottle (18) with water, or a mild window or glass cleaning solution, and close
the spray head by turning it clockwise.
2. Insert the ends of the scrubber head (19) into the elastic holders of the pad (20).
3. Close the hook-and-loop fastener to secure the pad to the scrubber head.
4. Slide the scrubber head (19) onto the spray bottle.
5. Choose a nozzle setting: Spray / Stream / Off.
6. Spray the water or cleaning solution on the cleaning surface, and clean the surface with
the scrubber pad.
7. Use the vacuum cleaner with the scraper attachment (15) to vacuum any remaining water .
13 Cleaning and care
Important:
Always switch the power OFF and disconnect the rechargeable battery pack if leaving
the product unattended, when changing accessories, cleaning, or after use.
Do not use harsh cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions. They
damage the housing and can cause the product to malfunction.
Do not immerse the motor unit in water.
1. Empty the contents of the dust cup after each use.
2. Check the lters and clean them regularly.
3. Disassemble the vacuum cleaner for thorough cleaning when required. See section
“Dissassebmling”.
4. Allow all parts to dry completely before reassembling and storing.
Specic cleaning instructions
Motor unit: Clean with a soft, moist cloth. Keep the air inlets and outlets free of any
obstructions (e.g. dust, hair, lint, etc.).
Dust cup: Empty the contents. Rinse with cold water. Wash with soapy water and a soft
sponge if required. Dry thoroughly.
Filter holder, lter, and foam lter: Gently tap the lters to remove excess dust. Rinse
under the tap until water runs clear. Allow to air dry completely.
Vacuum head: Clean with a soft, damp cloth.
Crevice tool, scraper, small brush, upholstery nozzle: Clean with a soft, damp cloth.
Rinse with water if required.
Spray bottle, scrubber head, pad: Clean with water or soapy water. Dry completely.
