9. Setting the penetration depth
Thedevicefeaturesawheelforadjustingthepenetrationdepthofthestaplesornails.
 Todeterminethedesiredandoptimumpenetrationdepthforthestaplesandnails,useatestworkpiece
with the same structure and material thickness as the workpieces you are going to join.
• Toincreasethepenetrationdepth,turnthepenetrationdepthadjustmentwheel
towards the “large nail” symbol
.
• Todecreasethepenetrationdepth,turnthepenetrationdepthadjustmentwheel
towards the “small nail” symbol
.
10. Removing a jammed nail or staple
Jammednailsorstaplesmustberemovedbeforecontinuingtousetheappliance,otherwisethemechanismmaybe
damaged.
Proceed as follows:
• Remove the battery (11) from the device.
• Open the magazine (6) and remove the remaining staples or nails. Remove the jammed fastening elements.
• Fill the magazine (6) with new nails or staples and check that the device is working again.
