• Always handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height may damage the
product.
• Always observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected to the
product.
• Consult a technician if you are not sure how to use or connect the product.
• Maintenance,modicationsandrepairsmustbedonebyatechnicianoraspecialistrepaircentre.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our technical
support service or other technical personnel.
b) Persons and Product
• If the swivel arm is defective, it must be taken out of operation immediately. Carry out a complete
maintenance and replace the affected parts.
• Beforeusingtheswivelarmforthersttime,checkthatallpartsaretightened.Donotuseitifindividual
parts are loose.
• Before each use, check all parts of the swivel arm for cracks and defects. Check that all the screws are
tight.
• Do not overload the swivel arm under any circumstances!
• The product is only approved for use with an electric cable hoist.
• Do not lift or transport persons with a cable hoist suspended from the swivel arm.
• Always keep the operating area clear. Make sure there are no persons under suspended loads.
• Children and assistants must observe and comply with the required safety distances.
• Ensure that no unauthorized persons operate or play with the product.
• Do not mount two cable hoists on the swivel arm at the same time or lift attached loads with both.
