(CAUTION)
As soon as the DC overload protection function is triggered, reduce the current load of the connected electrical device
such that it is below the rated output power of the generator. If the DC overload protection function is triggered again,
stop using the device immediately and contact an authorized dealer.
8.6 Economy control switch (ECS)
1
“ON” (1)
When the ECS switch is set to “ON”, the economy control unit controls the engine
speedaccordingto theconnectedload. Thishelpsto ensuremoreefcient fuel
consumption and less noise.
2
“OFF” (2)
When the ECS switch is set to “OFF”, the engine will run at the rated speed (4500 r/
min), regardless of whether a load is connected.
Tip:
The ECS must be set to “OFF” when connecting electrical devices that require a high inrush current, such as a com-
pressor or submersible pump.
8.7 Tank cap
Remove the tank cap by turning it anticlockwise.
8.8 Tank cap bleed valve
The tank cap (2)isttedwithableedvalve(1)tostoptheowoffuel.Thebleedvalvemustbesetto“ON”.Thiswill
allowthefueltoowintothecarburettorandstarttheengine.Iftheengineisnotinuse,turnthebleedvalveto“OFF”
tostoptheowoffuel.
8.9 Ground terminal (earth)
The ground terminal (1) is connected to the ground cable to prevent an electric
shock. If the electrical device is grounded, the generator must always be grounded.
9 Before operation
9.1 Fuel
(WARNING)
Fuelishighlyammableandtoxic.
Carefullycheckthe“SAFETYINFORMATION”beforellingthetankwithfuel.
Donotoverllthefueltank,otherwisethefuelmayoverowasitheatsupandexpands.
Afterllingthefueltank,makesurethatthetankcapistight.
