Do not use near sparking or open ames.
Never disassemble, open with force or burn the product.
Never use the product when damaged.
Follow the procedure in the operating instructions for lling.
Depending on ambient lighting, the ame may be only barely visible.
After use, check whether the ame has gone out.
Let it cool down completely before storing.
Only ll your gas burner with commercially available lighter gas and in a well ventilated environment. Avoid
naked ames (explosion hazard!).
When lling, observe the safety and operating instructions of the lighter gas manufacturer.
Gas burners may only be lled when cool.
Stop the lling process immediately if gas escapes. A gas-air mixture could arise which is liable to explode.
Make sure that the room has been well ventilated before you ignite gas burners or other sources of
ignition.
Do not remove or open the lling valves to allow gas to escape.
When igniting and using the gas burner, keep it away from the body and clothing.
Never ignite liquid or gas-like combustibles (e.g. petrol, alcohol).
Always hold the gas burner in such a manner that the ame points away from you.
Gas burners may not be operated, lled or stored in areas where explosive, easily ammable materials,
combustible gases, vapours or dust, or inammable liquids (solvents, alcohol, benzene etc.) are kept or
could be kept . There is the risk of explosion or re!
Protect the gas burner from dirt and humidity.
Never touch the burner nozzle during or shortly after operation. Risk of burns!
Under no circumstances use the device to dry your hair.
Never work on energized electrical components. Disconnect the device you want to solder from the power
supply and check that it is de-energized.
Protect body and eyes from soldering sparks and liquid solder. Wear appropriate protective clothes and
protective glasses.
Vapours produced during soldering are hazardous to the health. Use, if necessary, an appropriate exhaust
system or ventilate accordingly.
Keep your work space organized and use a heat-proof base to work on.

If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it from any
accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
is visibly damaged, -
is no longer working properly, -
has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or -
has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses. -

Gas burners may only be lled when cool.
Stop the lling process immediately if gas escapes. A gas-air mixture could arise which
is liable to explode.
Turn the hot-gas burner upside down, so the charging valve points upwards. 1.
Place the ISO-butane gas bottle (if necessary through an appropriate adaptor) onto the charging valve.2.
Press the ISO-butane gas bottle vertically downwards. The gas ows into the gas tank of the gas burner. 3.
