Wipe the surface with a dry cloth afterwards.
b) Sharpening the blades
Warning! Risk of cuts! Wear protective gloves before/while sharpening the blade.
1. Ensure the cutter blades and the shear plate are slightly offset.
2. Secure the blade in a vice.
3. Alignthemillle(notprovidedConrad,ItemNo.829674)alongthesameangleastheedgeofthetoothandmake
several,long,smoothstrokesdownwardofeachblade.Thetoothedgesshouldshineupastheleremovesbuild-
up and oxidation. Ensure that the original angle of each tooth is maintained (Fig. 13).

4. Repeat the procedure for the remaining teeth.
c) Maintenance
To ensure long and reliable service, carry out the following maintenance regularly.
Regularlycheckforobviousdefectssuchasloosexings,andwornordamagedcomponents.
Checkthatcoversandguardsareundamagedandcorrectlytted.Carryoutnecessarymaintenanceorrepairs
before using.
11. Storage and transportation
Always lubricate the blades with a lightweight machine oil (not provided, Conrad Item No. 236217) before storage.
Place the blade covers on the blades before storing and transportation.
Store the product indoors, in a dry place inaccessible to children.
Charge the battery pack (3) at least once every three months to protect it from deep discharge and damage.
Transport the product adequately secured in original packaging.
