The cable hoist is not suitable for moving hot and/or melted objects. It must not be used in very low
temperatures or hostile environments.
If the hoist cannot lift an object, do not attempt to touch the switch again. This indicates that the load is
heavier than the maximum load capacity.
Do not overload the cable hoist. Never use multiple hoists to lift one object.
Take appropriate measures to prevent an electric shock, e.g. avoid contact with grounded metal surfaces
or moisture.
Wear suitable protective clothing, ear/hair protection and non-slip shoes when using the hoist.
Do not wear jewellery that may get caught in the moving parts of the hoist.

Before starting work, check that the rope is in the correct position on the roller.
Never unroll the entire rope from the roller. Ensure that the rope is wound at least 3 times to avoid
damaging the rope connection.
Never exceed the maximum load capacity stated on the rope (the value stated on the hook is not
relevant).
Do not hang heavy objects at long lengths, as this may overload the components and cause an injury.
If the steel rope wears out, replace it with an equivalent rope from a specialist repair centre. (See
diagram in "Maintenance").
