b) Safety notes when connecting the device
WARNING!
Danger tolife from electric shock!There is a dangerto life at contactwith live lines orparts!
Therefore, observe the following safety notes:
• If the mains cable is damaged, this cable must only be replaced by a repair workshop designated by the
manufacturer. Please contact the manufacturer or his customer service to ensure professional repair
and thus avoid danger!
• The mains voltage must correspond to the voltage indication (V) on the device!
• The device must only be connected to alternating current via a protective ground socket.
• When using an extension cable, only use an outdoor cable with a line cross-section of at least 1.5 mm
2
!
• Installation of a residual current device with a nominal trigger current not exceeding 30 mA in the building
installation offers additional protection. Ask your electrician!
• Pull the mains plug:
- if there are interferences in operation
- before every cleaning
- after use

WARNING!

water!Therefore,observethefollowingsafetynotes:
• Never use the device with wet hands.
• Do not submerge the device in water or spray or clean it with water. The device must be protected from
wetness. If the device falls into water nevertheless, pull the mains plug immediately. Never reach into the
water while the device is still connected!
WARNING! Danger of burns from hot device parts! Parts of the device may grow very hot in
operationandcauseburns.Improperuseofthedevicealsoposesadangerofburns!Therefore,
observe the following safety notes:
• Never point this hot-air steam at people or animals.
• Never touch the "conical nozzle" (11) and "heat shield" (10).
