4. Safety Information
This chapter contains important warning and safety notes that you need to observe when handling
and using the device.
a) Basic safety notes
Observe the following basic safety notes for safe handling and safe use of the device:
NOTE!
• Repairs to devices for household and garden use must only be performed by specialist workshops.
Spare parts should be ordered from your specialist vendor. If they are not in stock, he will procure them
as quickly as possible.
• This device corresponds to the recognised rules of the art and the relevant safety provisions!
• This device must not be operated by children and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
abilities or lack of experience and knowledge even if they are supervised or instructed in safe use of
the device. Use of the device by the above persons is not permitted even if dangers possibly resulting
from operation of the device are understood. Children must not play with the device or clean or service
it either.
• Never use the device when exhausted, ill or under the inuence of alcohol or other drugs or medication.
• Always wear rm shoes; protective gloves are recommended!
• The device is not suitable for unsupervised operation.
• Youths under 16 years and persons who are not familiar with the operating instructions must not use
this device.
• You must observe these operating instructions and store them carefully to avoid damage and dangers
from improper use!
• When passing on the device to other persons, the operating instructions must bypassed on as well!
• Only use genuine spare parts and accessories for the device. Never use any worn, changed or defective
spare parts or accessories!
