7. Handling and storage
7.1. Precautions for safe handling
Advice on safe handling
Only use the material in places where open light, fire and other flammable sources can be kept away. Use explosion-proof
electrical equipment. Take precautionary measures against static discharges . Provide earthing of containers, equipment,
pumps and ventilation facilities. Use only antistatically equipped (spark-free) tools. Keep away from sources of heat (e.g. hot
surfaces), sparks and open flames. Suitable floor material: conductive Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes. Do not
breathe gas/fumes/vapour/spray (appropriate wording to be specified by the manufacturer). When using do not eat, drink or
smoke. Never use pressure to empty container.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion
Vapours are heavier than air. Vapours can form explosive mixtures with air.
7.2. Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Requirements for storage rooms and vessels
Keep container tightly closed. Never use pressure to empty container. Store in a place accessible by authorized persons only.
Soils have to conform to the "Guidelines for avoidance of ignition hazards due to electrostatic charges (TRBS 2153)".
Hints on joint storage
Keep away from: Strong acid, Strong alkali, Oxidizing agents.

Notice the directions for use on the label. Store in a well-ventilated place. Store in a dry place. Recommended storage
temperature: 5 25 °C. Protect against direct sunlight. Remove all sources of ignition.
