About Apple Maps
The Apple Maps app is part of iOS6. You can find a location using Apple Maps then navigate to
that location using the TomTom app.
Using the TomTom app with Apple Maps
To plan a route using Apple Maps with TomTom app, do the following:
1. Open Apple Maps.
2. Find the location you want to navigate to.
3. Tap and hold the location to drop a pin at the location and show the location details panel.
4. Tap the arrow in the location panel to open the Locations screen.
5. Tap Directions to Here.
6. In the details screen, tap the bus symbol, then tap Route.
Note: Tapping the car or pedestrian symbol starts the Apple navigation function.
7. In the Transport Apps screen, tap ROUTE next to the TomTom app symbol.
The TomTom app opens and calculates your route.
8. When the new route is shown, tap Done.
The TomTom app starts to guide you to your destination using spoken instructions and
on-screen directions.
