About Speed Cameras and Danger Zones Service
The Speed Cameras and Danger Zones service is a subscription service that shows you up-to-date
information about all speed camera or safety-related features that are on your route. Due to
changes in legislation, all types of speed camera locations are now reported as danger zones
when driving in France. The information shown by the Speed Cameras and Danger Zones service
is continually updated by TomTom users and frequently sent to your TomTom app so you always
have the latest information for your route. You can also report speed cameras and danger zones,
and remove speed cameras.
Important: The Speed Cameras and Danger Zones service is only available for use with the iPh-
one and iPad 3G and is not available for the iPod touch or the iPad without 3G.
To use this service you need a continuous data connection (GPRS, EDGE, UMTS or CDMA). Your
mobile operator may charge you for using a wireless data connection. To stop the Speed Cameras
and Danger Zones service updating, tap Change Settings in the Main menu, then tap Advanced,
then scroll down to Data Services. Tap the button to switch off the service.
Frequency of speed camera updates
Your Speed Cameras and Danger Zones service is constantly being updated unless the connec-
tion to the TomTom server is lost.
