POINTS OF INTEREST (POI)
You can find collections of Points of Interest (POI) on your TomTom GO Camper Max. A POI
collection will contain, for example, campsites or restaurants for the area you are travelling in and
provides an easy way to select a location without the need to search for the location each time. On
top of the standard POI lists your TomTom GO Camper Max will come with exclusive pre-installed
3rd party POI lists from our partners.
Using a POI list on your TomTom GO Camper Max
1. Select My Places in the Main Menu
2. Your POI list is shown in the Places list.
3. Select your POI list.
4. Your POI list opens showing all the POIs in the list.
Tip: To see more results, hide the keyboard or scroll down the results list.
Tip: You can switch between seeing the results on the map or in a list by selecting the list/map
button
Select a POI from the list or select the map view to see the POIs on
the map.
1. To plan a route to this destination, select Drive.
2. A route is planned and then guidance to your destination begins. As soon as you start driving,
the guidance view is shown automatically
Always show your POI list locations on the map
1. Select Main Menu > Settings > Map & Display > Show on Map
2. Select Points of interest
You see a list of all the POI lists stored on your TomTom GO Camper Max
3. Enable the POI list that you always want to see on your map
Note: Only 5 POI lists can be enabled at the same time
Tip: Select More Categories to enable the complete alphabetic list
4. Return to the map view
Your POI list locations are shown on the map
QUICK DEVICE FIXES
Device does not start or stopsrespondingto commands
If your device is not responding, first check that your device’s battery is charged.
Your device will alert you when its battery’s charge is low and critically low. If your battery’s charge
is depleted, your device will switch to sleep mode.
If this doesn’t solve the problem, you can perform a restart. To do this, press and hold the On/O
button until you see the TomTom logo and hear the drum roll.
