21.5 Reporting a new safety camera while
at home
You do not need to be at the location of a safety camera to report the new location. To report a
new safety camera location while you are at home, do the following:
1. Select ”Safety Alerts” in the Main Menu on your navigation device.
2. Select ”Report safety camera”.
3. Select ”Fixed camera” or ”Mobile camera” depending upon the type of camera.
4. Use the cursor to mark the exact location of the camera on the map, then select ”Done”.
5. Select Yes to conrm the location of the camera.
6. Select the type of camera you want to report and if necessary, choose the speed restriction for
the camera.
You see a message conrming that a report has been created.
21.6 Reporting incorrect camera alerts
You may receive an alert for a camera that is no longer there. To report an incorrect camera alert,
do the following:

You can only report an incorrect camera alert while you are at the location.
1. While you are at the location of the missing camera, select ”Report safety camera” in the Quick
menu.
Note:
This must be done within 20 seconds of receiving the camera alert.
2. Select ”Remove”.
21.7 Types of xed speed camera you can
report
When you report a xed safety camera, you can select the type of xed camera you are reporting.
These are the different types of xed safety camera:
Safety camera
This type of safety camera checks the speed of passing vehicles.
