21.3 Changing the way you are warned
Change
warning
preferences
To change the way your Lexus CT MoveOn Navi warns you about speed
cameras, select the ”Change warning preferences” button.
You can then set how close you want to be to a safety camera before you are
warned and what type of sound will be played.
For example, to change the sound that is played when you approach a xed
safety camera, do the following:
1. Select ”Safety Alerts” in the Main Menu.
2. Select ”Change warning preferences”.
A list of safety camera types is displayed. A speaker is shown next to the
safety camera types that have been set for an alert.
3. Select ”Fixed cameras”.
4. Select ”NO” to keep the xed safety camera alerts.
5. Enter the time in seconds for when a warning is given before you reach a
camera. Then select ”Next”.
6. Select the sound you want to be used for the warning.
Tips:
To switch off warning sounds for a camera type, select ”Silence” in
step 6 above. You still see a warning in the Driving View if you switch off
the warning sound.
7. Select ”Done” to save your changes.
21.4 Reporting a new safety camera while
on the move
To report a safety camera on the move, do the following:
1. Select ”Report safety camera” in the Quick menu to record the location of the camera.
If you select the report button within 20 seconds of receiving a safety camera warning, you get
the option to add a camera or remove a camera. Select ”Add camera”.
2. Select ”Fixed camera” or ”Mobile camera”, depending on the type of camera you are
reporting.
3. Select the camera location on the map and conrm that it is correct.
4. Select the type of xed camera you want to report, for example, a trafc light camera.
Note:
If the type of camera you choose has a speed restriction, you can also enter the speed.
You see a message conrming that a report has been created.
