20.4 Taking the fastest route
Your MoveOn device regularly looks for a faster route to your destination. If the trafc situation
changes and a faster route is found, your device offers to replan your journey so you can use the
faster route.
You can also set your device to automatically replan your journey whenever a faster route is found.
To apply this setting, select ”Trafc preferences” in the Trafc menu. Open the Trafc menu by
selecting the trafc sidebar.
To manually nd and replan the fastest route to your destination, do the following:
1. Press shift right (4) on the Navigation Control to select the trafc sidebar.
A summary of trafc on your route is shown.
2. Select ”Minimise delays”.
Your device searches for the fastest route to your destination.
The new route may include trafc delays. You can replan the route to avoid all trafc delays,
but a route which avoids all delays will usually take longer than the fastest route.
3. Select ”Done”.
20.5 Show trafc on route
To check for delays on your route, select ”Show trafc on route” in the Trafc menu. Your
navigation device shows a summary of the trafc delays on your route.
The total includes any delays due to trafc incidents and those due to busy roads, with information
provided by IQ Routes.
Select ”Minimise delays” to check if you can reduce the delay.
Note: You can also access the Show trafc on route screen by selecting the trafc area of the LIVE
summary tab.
