Renewing your LIVE Services subscription using TomTom HOME
You can buy LIVE services as a pre-paid subscription using TomTom HOME as follows:
1. Start TomTom HOME on your computer.
2. Insert your memory card into your card reader.
3. In TomTom HOME, click
Add Traffic, Voices, Safety Cameras etc .
4. Click
LIVE Services .
You can then choose from LIVE Service bundles available via subscription in the online shop.
Follow the onscreen instructions or use the HOME Help to get more information.
19.4 About TomTom HD Trafc
TomTom HD Trafc is a unique TomTom service providing real-time trafc information. For more
information about TomTom services, go to tomtom.com/services.
In combination with IQ Routes, HD Trafc helps you plan the optimum route to your destination
taking into account the current local trafc conditions.
Your Lexus CT MoveOn Navi device regularly receives information about the changing trafc
conditions. If trafc jams or other incidents are found on your current route, your device will offer
to replan your route to try and avoid any delays.
19.5 About Local Search
Using Local Search, you can search for shops and businesses and then plan a route to the
destination you choose.
19.6 Using local search
To nd a location using local search and plan a route there, follow the steps below. In this example,
you search for a supermarket near to your current position.
1. Select ”MENU” to bring up the Main Menu, then select ”Navigate to”.
2. Select the ”Local Search” button.
3. Select ”Search near you”.
4. Type ’supermarket’ then select ”OK”.
The locations that match your search are shown in a list with their distance from your current
location and rating.
5. Select one of the locations in the list.
The location is shown on the map.
Select ”Show info” to see more information about this location.
6. Select ”Select”.
Choose whether you want to navigate there, show the location on a map, travel via that
location or add it as a favourite.
