16. Help
16.1 About getting help
Select ”Help me” in the Main menu to navigate to emergency services centres and other specialist
services.
For example, if you are involved in a car accident, you could use the Help menu to nd the contact
details for the nearest hospital, call them using a phone and tell them your exact location.
Tip: If you do not see the Help button in the Main menu, select ”Change preferences” and then
”Safety preferences”. Clear the checkbox for
Show only essential menu options while
driving
.
16.2 Using Help to phone a local service
To use Help to locate a service centre, contact the centre by phone and navigate from your current
location to the centre, do the following:
1. Select the screen to show the Main Menu.
2. Select ”Help me”.
3. Select ”Emergency phone numbers”.
4. Select the type of service you require, for example, ”Nearest hospital”.
5 Select a centre from the list, the nearest is shown at the top of the list.
Your device shows your position on the map along with a description of the location. This
helps you explain where you are while making a call.
The phone number is displayed for you to call using a phone.
6. To navigate your way to the centre by car, select ”Navigate there”.
Your MoveOn starts guiding you to your destination.
