6.9 Viewing route information
View route
You can access the options described below for the route you last planned
by selecting ”View route” in the Main Menu or the ”Details” button on the
route summary screen.
You can then select the following options:
Browse as text
Select this button for a list of all the turn instructions on the route.
This is very useful if you need to explain a route to someone else.
Browse as
images
Select this button to see each turn in the journey. Select the left and right
arrows to move forwards and backwards through the journey.
Select the screen itself to turn off the 3D display and view the map from
above.
Browse map of
route
Select this button to see an overview of the route using the map browser.
Show route
demo
Select this button to watch a demo of the journey. You can interrupt the
demo by pressing any button on the Navigation Control.
Show route
summary
Select this button to open the route summary screen.
Show traffic on
route
Select this button to see all the trafc incidents on your route.
Note: To use a TomTom trafc information service, you may need a
subscription. Trafc services are not supported in all countries or regions. For
