Report a safety camera
Tap this symbol to report a safety camera. The message Thank you is
shown at the top of the screen. The location is reported to TomTom and
shared with other TomTom App Safety Cameras users.
Note: A reported safety camera stays in TomTom App for three hours.
Remove a safety camera
The safety camera symbol changes to this symbol when you are near a
safety camera. Tap the symbol to remove a speed trap. You can remove a
safety camera until 5 seconds after you have passed its location. The
removal is reported to TomTom and shared with other TomTom App Safety
Cameras users.
Settings for Safety Cameras
The Safety Cameras Alert settings let you turn the Safety Cameras alert on or off, and let you select
the warning sound.
1. Tap Settings In the Main menu.
2. Tap TomTom services.
3. Tap Safety Cameras report button to turn safety cameras on or off.
4. Tap Safety Cameras and select which safety cameras and safety-related items you want to
receive a warning for.
5. Tap Sound and choose a sound for the alert.
