Follow the correct order of connection. Connect the RCA cable from the DVD player’s AV OUT to the karaoke set’s DVD connection. 3.2 Connecting the karaoke set to a home cinema with SCART AV output Important!!! If you make a SCART connection to your audio equipment, you must use the SCART adaptor with the DVD label.

When you want to sing with your karaoke set, set the TV to the correct input, and when you again want to watch a DVD or Blu-ray, set the TV back to HDMI. The picture quality of karaoke DVDs is not affected by this means of connection.
