1. REMOVAL OF THE STOCK STANDARD EXHAUST MUFFLER
This manual only provides the simple instructions. For more details please refer to the vehicles
official service manual.
1. Disconnect the cars negative terminal battery.
2. Remove the exhaust main muffler.
3. Remove the center exhaust pipe.
4. Remove the exhaust muffler cover (rubber) from the car bodys left side.
5. Remove the lower floor bar.
2．INSTALLATION OF THE TOMEI TITANIUM MUFFLER
【Illustration of the mounting position of each bolt & gasket】
The installation of the bolts included in the kit is shown below.
【MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS】
1. Change the stock muffler hanger on the center exhaust pipe with the muffler hanger
that is supplied in the kit. * Use the included gasket (above ④) & bolt M12 (above ⑤).
2. Fit the main pipe A with the Gasket, M12 Nut and M12 Washer with a trial fitment
before securing it all. You now check that the UPSIDE mark is fitted facing upwards.

3. Fit the clamp band to the Main Pipe B, then use the Spring Bands to secure
the Main Pipe A to B. Then fit the new Muffler Hanger rubber.
* Use the supplied Clamp Band (Ref ⑧).
4. Fit the Silencer ASSY with the Spring Hooks to Main Pipe B, check that
it fitted correctly. * Use the supplied Clamp Band (Ref ⑧).
The mufflers Tomei Logo is to be installed facing down to the ground.

<Kit contents torque specs>
* Apply the bolt smooth paste that is supplied in
the kit to prevent metal burns and seizures to
the bolts and nuts.
