WARNING Relating to Gasoline
Be careful with handing the fuel during the removal and re-installation of fuel line and components. Since it will be
a high fire and explosion hazard risk, always be sure that there is protection and safety equipement around at all
times.
The right place for the job is with the following attribute
① A well-ventilated place.
② Make sure that there is no fire risk hazard tools, equipement near the work space
(lighters, electronic tools, welders).
③ Take precautions so that fuel vapors does not fill the work area.
Do not use anything that can cause sparks on the job.
① About electrical machinery and equipement.
As a general rule, do not use for this type of job or similar.
Do not test the pump and/or fuel in a plastic tank.
Do not use a drill, grinder and/or welder.
② Preventing sparks during the job.
Keep your work place spark free. (ie. Do not use a hammer).
■ Preventing static electricity, safe practices.
① Have a fire extinguisher prepared.
② Prevent static electricity.
Keep the floor slip free and free from water.
Keep the vehicles properly earthed when changing the fuel duct and components.
③ Keep the fuel separated when possible during the proceedure.
■ Have the fuel tank emptied before commencing work.
■ Take care not to spill the fuel that is left in the piping when removing the fuel lines.
■ Remove any unwanted foreign objects from the fuel tank when possible.

② Remove the fuel filler cap to release the internal pressure from the tank.
③ When the engine dies, crank the engine 3~4 times to get the fuel back into the system.
④ Turn the ignition switch OFF, remove the negative terminal of the battery.
