2. WHEN INSTALLING A VACCUM TANK.
Use the 1/8PT blind plug on the Throttle body to control the negative pressure when connecting the vacuum
tank to the brake master.
Never use the 1/8PT and the 1/4PT outlet since that is never used for the brake master
(No negative pressure is produced when the throttle is fully closed).
That is used for wastegate.
[If you want to use a Vacuum Tank, it is also available from Tomei (TOMEI vacuum tank Part # 193055)]
Remove the 1/8PT blind plug from the throttle body, attach to the vacuum tanks male connector.
3. THROTTLE ADJUSTMENTS (Adjusting Idle)
The stock ECU cannot control this function. Additional equipment is required for making adjustments.
Perform the job in a well ventilated area as there's a risk of carbon monoxide poisoning when the
engine is running.
The fully open and full closed stoppers (Screw & Nut)
have been temporarily fixed in place for shipping.
Take care not to drop/lose these.
Twist to the same angle both banks until both throttles
are fully closed on the stopper, then slightly open them.
After starting the engine, have both banks throttles
fully closed. Twist in the same angle to adjust the
idle.
Use the adjustment rods to adjust the idle if needed.
