Identify the active mole tunnels. Create an indentation in the middle of the tunnel to allow for
correct trigger placement. Align the trigger with the indentation and push the jaws of the trap
into the tunnel, aligning the jaws perpendicular to the direction of the tunnel. Push the foot
pedal down until it locks into place, making sure the trigger post is visible through the slot in
the foot pedal. Push the trigger post down until it is flush with the top of the foot pedal to
ensure the trigger is set correctly. If you have not caught a mole within 48 hours, move the
