A fire extinguisher is not supplied with this machine. However, a fire extinguisher must be
mounted on the machine and made available for use according to local and national
regulations.
Type
Select a fire extinguisher classified for use on engine-powered construction equipment.
Installation
Install the fire extinguisher according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The installation
must be performed by an authorized Tomahawk dealer or service center.
Recommended mounting locations for the fire extinguisher on this machine are:
 Attached to the panel at the feet of the operator, adjacent to the control column
 Strapped to the ROPS
WARNING
Possibility of injury and equipment damage. Mounting the fire
extinguisher improperly can weaken the ROPS or the water tank.
► Do not drill into the ROPS or modify the structure in any way.
► Do not drill into the operator pedestal except in the area adjacent to
the control column. The water tank is directly beneath the operator
pedestal.
Safety information
 Check the fire extinguisher at regular intervals to make sure that the unit is fully
charged and operational.
 Before each use of the machine, make sure that the fire extinguisher is securely
mounted in place and fasteners are tight.
