If the battery casing is dismantled, small amounts of electrolyte may leak. Collect all released material in a plastic
lined container. Dispose off according to the local law and rules. Avoid leached substances to get into the earth,
canalizationorwaters.

7. Handlingandstorage
(a)Precautionsforsafehandling
Alwaysfollow thewarning information onthe batteriesand in the manuals ofdevices. Only use therecommended
batterytypes. Keep batteries awa yfromchildren. For devicesto be used by children,the batterycasing should be
protected against unauthorized access. Unpacked batteries shall not lie about in bulk. In
case of battery change
alwaysreplaceallbatteriesbynewonesofidenticaltypeandbrand.Donotswallowbatteries.Donotthrowbatteries
intowater.Do not throwbatteriesintofire.Avoid deep discharge. Do not short circuitbatteries Userecommended
chargingtimeandcurrent.
(b)Conditionsforsafestorage,
includinganyincompatibilities
Ifthebatteryis subjecttostorageforsuch alongterm asmorethan3months,it isrecommendedtorecharge the
batteryperiodically.Andrecommendedat‐5~45 for1month storage,at‐5~35 for 3monthsstorage. Do
notstoragethebattery
haphazardlyinaboxordrawerwheretheymayshortcircuiteachotherorbeshortcircuited
byothermetalobjects.Keepoutofreachofchildren.

