USING THE APPLIANCE
Thisgrillcanbeusedinthreedifferentpositions:
A)thetoasterposition:forgrillingthincutsofmeatand
toastedsandwiches;
B)theovenposition:forgratinatingbreadand
vegetables;
C)thegrillposition:forgrillingthickercutsofmeatand
fish.
• Placeatrayunderneaththegreasetrough(under
bothtroughswheninthegrillposition).
• Setthegrilltothedesiredposition(A,BorC).
• Inserttheplugintothemainspowersocket.
• Setboththermostatbuttonstothedesiredposition:
bothindicatorlightswillilluminate.Youcanadjust
thetemperaturewhilstgrillingbyturningthe
thermostatbuttons.
• Allowtheappliancetoheatup.Theindicatorlights
willgooutoncethegrillplateshavereachedtheset
temperature.
• Placetheingredientsonthegrillaccordingto
themannerdescribedforthepositionyouhave
selected:
OPERATION
Thiscontactgrillcanbeusedtofry,grillorgratinate
toastedsandwiches,meat,fishorvegetables.Thelid
canbeplacedinthreepositions,givingtheappliancea
toasterfunction,anovenfunctionandagrillfunction.
Bothgrillplateshaveanadjustablethermostatanda
troughtoallowoilorgreasetodrainoff.Thegrillplates
canbeeasilyremovedfromtheapplianceandare
dishwashersafe.
USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
• Removeallpackagingfromtheappliance.
• Cleantheappliance,see'Cleaningand
Maintenance'.
• Closethegrill
• Inserttheplugintothemainspowersocket.
• Turnboththermostatbuttonsto‘MAX’.
• Allowtheappliancetowarmupfortenminutes.
Thiswillallowanydustandmanufacturingresidues
toburnaway.Asmallamountofsmokemaybe
releasedfromtheappliancewhilstitiswarmingup.
Thisisnormalanddoesnotindicateaproblemwith
theappliance.
• Makesurethereissufficientventilation.
• Aftertenminutes,turnboththermostatbuttonsto
‘MIN’.
• Removetheplugfromthemainspowersocket.
• Allowtheappliancetocool.
• Continuewiththeprocedurein‘Usingtheappliance’.
