Inner Sprocket Cleaning

After any use of the chainsaw, clean the saw properly.
• Release the muffler cover (see picture 1).
• Clean the inner interior with the small brush.
• Screw the screw of the chain tension (2/1) to the left up to the stop.
•
Remove the saw chain and guide bar.
• Clean the groove on the bar and the hole for oil supply.

To avoid one-sided wearing, turn the guide bar after each sharpening and chain change. Regularly check that the guide bar is not
damaged. Remove any possible coating.
•
Properly clean the grooves of the bar (1) and the hole for oil supply (2).
• Properly clean the hole for lubrication (1) on the end of the guide bar (from both sides).
• Press lubrication into the holes using the lubrication press on both sides until the lubrication equally runs out on the tops of the
turner. Turn the turner at the same time.
Air Filter

Keep the air filter clean!
• Remove the top cover (2).
• Carefully remove the air filter (1) and wash it in clean, warm soapy water, Air dry completely and then reinstall.
Never wash the filer with petrol. Replace the damaged filters.
Fuel filter

The fuel filter should be replaced after each 20 hours of use.
• Remove the fuel tank cap together with the safety lock.
• Lift filter (2) out of the tank carefully using the small hook (1).
Spark Plug Replacement

Defective and burnt-out spark plugs must be replaced. Use only original spark plugs.
As an alternative you can use this type, as well: CHAMPION RDJ 6Y
• Disconnect the connector of the spark plug (2).
• Remove the spark plug (24/1) by unscrewing with a pair of pliers.
• Check the gap of the spark plug electrodes, which must be (E) (E=0.65 mm).
Muffler

The muf
fler is equipped with a special safety spark arrester screen.
The screen must be cleaned regularly.
A
dirty safety spark arrester screen will lower the performance of the engine.
Hot combustible products may include sparks, which, in the case of a damaged safety spark arrester screen, may cause
fire, e.g. dry grass burning.
A damaged safety spark arrester screen must be replaced.

Remove the muf

•
Unscrew the muffler (1). Unscrew the three screws (2) and remove the whole muffler.
• Spread the muffler and clean the safety spark arrester screen (3), if it is damaged, replace it.
• Reinstallation is carried out in the reverse order.
Carburettor
The carburettor is set for optimal performance by the producer.
Possible additional settings must be carried out at an authorised service location.
The saw chain must not run when the engine is idling.

Vergaser
Der Vergaser wurde werkseitig auf optimale Motorleistung eingestellt. Eventuelle Nachstellungen nur in einer Kundendienstwerkstatt
vornehmen lassen.

ie Sägekette darf im Leerlauf nicht mitlaufen.
Lagerung der Motorsäge
N
ach jedem Gebrauch Motorsäge gründlich reinigen.
Bei Betriebspausen länger als 30 Tage folgende Arbeiten an der Motorsäge durchführen:
• Sägekettenöl aus dem Öltank der Motorsäge ausleeren.
•
Etwas Motorenöl einfüllen.
• Motorsäge damit einige Zeit betreiben, um Ölleitungen und Ölpumpe durchzuspülen.
• Kraftstofftank entleeren.
• Motor starten und laufen lassen, bis dieser aus Kraftstoffmangel abstirbt.
• Sägekette und Führungsschiene abnehmen, reinigen und mit Rostschutzöl einsprühen.
• Motorsäge gründlich reinigen und in einem trockenen Raum aufbewahren.
Fehler
Sollte beispielsweise nach Abnutzung eines Teils ein Fehler auftreten, dann setzen Sie sich bitte mit der auf der Garantiekarte angegebenen
Serviceadresse in Verbindung. Im hinteren Teil dieser Anleitung befindet sich eine ausführliche Übersicht über die Teile, die bestellt werden
können.
Umwelt
Um Transportschäden zu verhindern, wird die Maschine in einer soliden Verpackung geliefert. Die Verpackung besteht weitgehend aus
verwertbarem Material. Benutzen Sie also die Möglichkeit zum Recyceln der Verpackung.
