Never cut a tree during winds.

Felling consists of 2 main cutting operations: making 2 notching cuts and making one felling cut.
F
or felling cuts and cross cuts, the spike bar must safely adhere to the cut wood.
The felling cut (C) must be made in the desired fall direction (E) as close to the ground as possible.
• First cut the felling notch (C) obliquely from above, then horizontally.
•
Cut the felling cut (D) horizontally in the opposite direction to the felling notch. The cut must be made ca 3-5 cm higher than the
horizontal notch.

here must be a joint bar (F) between the notch and the cut, whose width is ca 1/10 of the tree trunk diameter.
• If the tree starts falling during the cut, immediately remove the chainsaw from the cut and leave via the safety route away from
danger. Beware of falling branches.
• If the tree remains standing, fell it by using wedges which are driven into the felling cut. Beware of falling branches.
Limbing
When limbing, lean the chainsaw against the tree trunk.
Never cut with the nose of the guide bar
. Danger of kickback.
• Beware of branches under tension.
• Do not cut the freely hanging branches from underneath.
• Never cut tree limbs while standing on a tree trunk.
• Sticking, lengthwise and heart cuts should be carried out only by skilled chainsaw users.
Bucking
• Always use a safe board (sawhorse).
• Do not hold the wood with your leg. No other person should be allowed to hold the wood, either.
• The log should be securely supported.
For personal safety, no body part should be within the action circle of the saw chain.

Troubleshooting, Causes and Repairs
Before any maintenance and cleaning work unplug the connector of the spark plug!
Before any maintenance work on the chain saw:
• Stop the engine and allow it to cool a little,
•
Unplug the connector of the spark plug,
• Wear protective gloves.

No sujete la motosierra con una sola mano. Sujete la motosierra con ambas manos.
Las personas ajenas se mantendrán alejadas. No se pondrá en funcionamiento si hay personas ajenas, especialmente
niños o animales, en las inmediaciones.
Al utilizar la máquina se llevarán siempre gafas de protección para proteger los ojos de los objetos que puedan salir des-
pedidos y orejeras o casco que proteja los oídos. Si el usuario trabaja en una zona donde puedan caerle objetos (por
ejemplo, ramas) también tendrá que llevar casco obligatoriamente.
Utilice guantes de protección.
Utilice botas de seguridad para evitar descargas eléctricas.
