Arranque con el motor frío

• Ponga el interruptor de apagado STOP (6) en “I”
• Mueva la palanca del estrangulador (16) a la posición de arranque en frío (16) “CHOKE”
• Pulse el pasador (7) y manténgalo pulsado
• Pulse el gatillo del cebador (9) y manténgalo pulsado
• Pulse el gatillo de seguridad (8) desde el lado
•
Suelte el gatillo del cebador (9) y después el pasador (1). El gatillo del cebador y el pasador se bloquearán.
• Póngase en una posición segura y firme y coloque la motosierra en el suelo de forma tal que la barra guía no quede limitada por
n
ingún objeto.
• Ponga la punta del pie sobre el mango posterior.
•
Tire del cordel de arranque varias veces rápidamente (4). Tenga cuidado con la cadena en movimiento.
• Mueva la palanca del cebador a la mitad “ HALF”
• Tire del cordel rápidamente hasta que el motor arranque.
• Caliente el motor un mínimo de 10 segundos. Después pulse y suelte el gatillo del cebador en ralentí “IDLE”
•
Mueva la palanca del cebador a “ RUN”
Arranque con el motor caliente

• Ponga el interruptor de apagado STOP (6) en “I”
• Mueva la palanca del estrangulador (16) a la mitad “HALF”
•
Pulse el pasador (7) y manténgalo pulsado
• Pulse el gatillo del cebador (9) y manténgalo pulsado
• Pulse el gatillo de seguridad (8) desde el lado.
• Suelte el gatillo del cebador (9) y después el pasador (1). El gatillo del cebador y el pasador se bloquearán.
• Póngase en una posición segura y firme y coloque la motosierra en el suelo de forma tal que la barra guía no quede limitada por
ningún objeto.

Ponga la punta del pie sobre el mango posterior
• Tire del cordel de arranque (4) rápidamente. Tenga cuidado con la cadena en movimiento.
• Mueva la palanca del cebador a “ RUN”
• Caliente el motor durante 10 segundos. Posteriormente presione y suelte el gatillo del cebador en ralentí “IDLE”
Apagar el motor
Ponga el interruptor en “STOP”.
Comprobación del funcionamiento del freno de cadena

Pruebe el freno de la cadena periódicamente para asegurarse de que funciona correctamente.
• Deposite la motosierra sobre una superficie limpia, estable y plana, y seguidamente arranque el motor.
• Sujete el mango posterior con la mano derecha y con la izquierda sujete el mango delantero con seguridad y firmeza.
• Deje que el motor gire a un régimen medio de revoluciones.
• Lleve la palanca del freno de la cadena (1) hacia el mango delantero. La cadena debería detenerse inmediatamente.
• A continuación, presione el gatillo para que gire al ralentí, y quite el freno de la cadena.
Si la cadena no se detiene, apague el motor y encargue la reparación de la motosierra al servicio técnico autorizado más
próximo. En este estado la motosierra no se debe utilizar
.
5. INSTRUCCIONES DE TRABAJO
El talado de árboles requiere gran experiencia. T
anto el talado como el desramado lo deberían llevar a cabo personas
que hayan recibido una formación pertinente.
Las asociaciones del ramo suelen ofrecen cursos de manejo de motosierras y de talado de árboles regularmente.

En el área de trabajo no pueden permanecer personas o animales.
La distancia de seguridad con respecto al árbol que se pretende talar ha de ser de al menos 21/2 xla longitud del árbol.
Nunca corte con la punta de la espada. Peligro de retroceso.

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully. Familiarize yourself with the correct use of the unit. Keep the operating instructions in a safe
place for further use or for another owner. Follow all warnings and safety instructions on the unit.
User
Children and teenagers under the age of 16 must not use the unit along with any persons who are not familiar with the operating
instructions with the exception of apprentices older than 16 years under skilled supervision. Persons under the influence of alcohol,
d
rugs or medicine as well as persons who are not familiar with the operating instructions must not use the unit.
P
ersonal Protective Equipment
To avoid any injury to the head or to extremities, as well as any damage to hearing, it is necessary to wear the recommended clothing
a
nd protective equipment. Clothing must be close fitting and must not limit your movement. If you have long hair, wear a hairnet.
Personal protective equipment includes:
• Protective helmet,
•
Hearing defenders (e.g. protective earflaps),
• Protective glasses or a face protector on a protective helmet,
• Protective trousers with the protective filling in the crotch,
• Firm work gloves,
• Safety shoes with non-slip soles and steel toe caps.
W
orking area
There must not be any other persons in the operating area. Also beware of children and of animals. The user of the unit is responsi-
ble for any accidents caused to other persons and/or damage to their property. Remove all cut off parts and other objects – danger of
tripping.
Operating
•
Operate the unit only after its complete assembly.
• Inspect the unit’s appearance before operating it. The unit must be in a safe working condition.
• Immediately replace any parts that are cracked or chipped.
• Operate the unit only in the technical condition authorized by the producer.
• Never remove any safety and protective devices of the unit.
• Always keep the unit in a safe condition.
• Before you start any work, replace any possible foreign objects from the cut object, which will avoid kickbacks.
• Always hold the chain saw in both hands – hold the rear handle with the right hand, the front handle with the left hand. Never use
the chain saw above shoulder level, because the handling is not safe on this level.
• Keep the handles dry, clean and free of oil or fuel mixture.
• Always carry and move the chainsaw with the chain stopped.
• When transporting your chainsaw, make sure the appropriate guide bar cover is in place and the engine is stopped.
• Always carry the chainsaw by the rear handle with the muffler away from your body directed to the back.
• During all maintenance work, such as saw chain replacement or transport of the unit, always stop the engine.
• If you do not use the unit, always cover the saw chain with the guide bar cover.
To operate a chainsaw for woodcutting of trees and cutting of branches requires extensive experience – operate the unit
only with the assistance of professionally skilled staff.
Operating time lines
Observe the operating time lines according to the lawn mowing regulations (noise protection) specific for all countries. Always use the
unit in daylight or in good artificial light.
Propellants / oil for saw chains
Propellants and oil for saw chains must be carried and stored only in containers allowed and indicated for such purpose.
Petrol is highly flammable!
•
Add fuel outdoors only
. Do not smoke when refuelling! Never open the cap of the fuel tank, or add fuel, while the engine is run
-
ning or the unit is hot.
•
Always use a funnel or a filling pipe for adding fuel to avoid spilling the fuel onto the engine, the cover or the ground.
• If the fuel overflows the engine must not be started. It is necessary to clean the unit. Under no circumstances should the unit be
started until the petrol vapours have dispersed.
•
Move the chain saw at least 3 m from the fuelling point before starting the engine.
Exhaust pipe and parts close to it may be very hot – danger of burning.
Never run the internal combustion engine inside a closed room – intoxication risk!
