2. Open the SD memory card storage device your computer’s file manager.
3. Copy all files from the SD memory card to a backup folder or drive on the computer.
7.12 Other operations and information
7.12.1 Status LEDs indication scheme for the Recording Unit
There are three LED indicators on the Recording Unit:
1. Power Indicator LED.
2. Connection Status LED.
3. SD card Activity LED.
Rules of thumb:
• To start a Recording: All three LEDs should be green.
• Red LEDs typically mean that something needs attending to, except when the Recording Unit is in Stand by/Sleep
mode.

Stop any ongoing re-
cordings immediately
and replace the
battery.
(LED blinking alternately red/green)
The Recording Unit is busy writing to
the SD memory card and the SD
memory card has less than 30 minutes
recording time left. Stop the recording
as soon as possible and replace the
SD memory card with another that has
space.
(LED slow blinking
red) The Recording
unit is in Standby/
Sleep mode.
(LED solid red) There is less than
enough space for 30 min. of
recording.
(LED blinking green)
The battery inside the
Recording Unit is
charging via the USB
port.
(LED blinking red)The SD card is run-
ning out of space. Stop any ongoing
recording immediately and replace the
card.
(LED blinking yellow) There is some-
thing wrong with the SD card and it
cannot be written to.
