Step 3: Bluetooth Pairing
Sound from the iPad gets to the Speech Case speakers via Bluetooth. The iPad and Speech Case must be paired to hear
sound through the Speech Case speakers.
On the iPad, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
Make sure that Bluetooth is turned ON.
Select Tobii Dynavox SC Tablet.

Tip
Your iPad and your Speech Case each need to be plugged in to charge their
respective batteries. See the diagram on the right for the location of the charging
ports on each device.
You can monitor the battery status of the Speech Case from your iPad.
Add the Battery Status widget
On your iPad, swipe right over the Home screen to get to the Today screen.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Edit.
Locate Batteries in the list of widgets and tap + to add it to your Today screen.
Select Done.
You can now swipe right over the Home screen at any point to get to the Today
screen and view the battery status of the Speech Case (the Speech Case must be
paired). The widget also shows the iPad’s charge.

If using multiple SC Tablets in one room, you can identify each SC Tablet by the
last five digits of the Bluetooth ID. It will match the unique five-digit serial number
located under the built-in stand on the Speech Case.
