30 Section 2B: Sprint Connection Manager Software
The Sprint Connection Manager Software
The Sprint Connection Manager software allows you to
manage and monitor the connection between your Sprint
Mobile Broadband USB modem and the CDMA network. Use
the software to:
䢇 Determine your signal strength, roaming status, Sprint
connection availability, and other network parameters.
䢇 Initiate data calls.
䢇 View call statistics.
䢇 Enable and disable features such as Always on Top (which
allows you to set the device software to display in front of
other application windows).
䢇 Set options related to Web messages, sounds played, and
the lock code security feature (which you can use to
prevent others from using your USB modem).
You must run the Sprint Connection Manager software
anytime you use the USB modem unless you have configured
the device to run in NDIS mode with Novatel Wireless, Inc.
Network Adapter. (See “Novatel Wireless Network Adapter
(NDIS)” on page 53.)
