Section 2A: Installing the Sprint Mobile Broadband USB Modem 19
4. Skip to step 7 if you did not check the Bytemobile
Optimization Client option from the Sprint Connection
Manager installation screen (see Note above).
5. If you chose to install the Bytemobile Optimization Client,
the Installshield Wizard and ByteMobile Optimization
Welcome window appear. Click Next and wait a few moments
for the software to install.
6. Now click Finish to complete installation of Bytemobile.
7. Click Restart or Finish to complete installation of the
Sprint Connection Manager software. Once the installation
procedure is complete and you have rebooted your computer
(either automatically or manually), launch Sprint Connection
Manager by clicking on the Sprint Mobile Broadband
(Novatel Wireless) desktop icon.
8. Sprint Connection Manager starts and the Insert your
device... dialog appears. (Do not connect the device until
instructed to do so by Sprint Connection Manager software.)
Note:
You may also be given the option of selecting the
Bytemobile
TM
Optimization Client feature at this time. This
option provides increased speeds and enhanced graphics to
further improve your experience with image and data
optimization in an easy-to-use visual interface. If this option
is available you may place a check mark in the check box to
add Bytemobile Optimization.
