Annex B. WiFi Configuration Guide
This documentation is to provide WiFi configuration guide to get optimal network performance
using TizzBird N1 Platforms. TizzBird N1 Platform is based on Android ICS Version and has built-
in 11n Wifi connection. Detail specifications can be found at given package or www.tizzbird.com.
B.1 System Configuration
 Server : PC, NAS or Phone File Sharing
 Player : TizzBird N1
 Connection : WiFi AP(Access-Point) 11n only
B.2 Check point to get Optimal Network performance
 AP must be configured as 11n Only Mode and uses WPAPSK/WPA2PSK authentication
mode.
 Distance in-between N1 and AP.
 Higher performance if both is closed enough.( < 3m distance)
 No walls in-between N1 and AP.
 Check WiFi Signal Strength and Compare it with your Smart Phone.
 Both must have at least -65dB Signal Strength.
 Check WiFi Channels you are using and Find best channels which it is least shared
with other APs.
B.3 Check point to get Optimal Network Playback performance
 Above are the minimum check points to get optimal Network playback performance.
 N1 Configuration
 Turn On Cinema Mode and TV Original Mode.
 In case of Playback thru PC, NAS File Sharing
 Recommend you to use NFS File Sharing instead of Samba.
 NFS may have 50% better than Samba.
 Use NAS system which it supports good through-put for file sharing protocol.
 SPIO NAS, Synology or QNAP looks have good performance.
 Recommend you to have Ethernet connection in-between PC or NAS system to
AP(Ethernet Switch).
 In case of Playback thru Phone File Sharing
 Recommend you to use most recent Smart Phone which it has dual-core ARM
System at least.
