NAHB Compliance Letter

To Whom It May Concern:
This letter has been sent to verify the compliance of Titebond® WeatherMaster™
ULTIMATE MP Sealant with the new green building standard created by the National
Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) and the International Code Council (ICC). This
new consensus standard on green building is called the National Green Building
Standard™ or ANSI ICC-700-2008.
According to the standard, Titebond® WeatherMaster™ ULTIMATE MP Sealant can
be used to meet Section 901.9.2. To qualify, an adhesive must meet very low
established VOC limits as well as meet the criteria specified in GreenSeal’s GS-36.
Our product has a VOC of only 9 g/L colors and 28 g/L translucent and does meet
the GS-36 criteria. This statement is based upon the current formulation of the
product and the regulations in place at the time of this letter.
By using Titebond® WeatherMaster™ ULTIMATE MP Sealant on your current green
building project, you could be contributing up to five points under Section 901.9.2 of
the National Green Building Standard.™
