This letter has been written to verify the VOC content of Titebond Acoustical Smoke & Sound Sealant.
The current VOC content of this product is 45.75 g/L. Accordingly, the VOC content of Titebond
Acoustical Smoke & Sound Sealant is less than the current VOC content limits of California’s South
Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) Rule #1168 for architectural sealants.
In addition, Titebond Acoustical Smoke & Sound Sealant has passed California Department of Public
Health CDPH/EHLB/Standard Method Version 1.2, 2017 (Emission testing method for CA
Specification 01350). This is a requirement for obtaining LEED v4 low emitting materials credit.
