External TPMS Installation

Note: Install antenna and turn on monitor before installing sensors, for capturing

and displaying the newly pressurized sensor readings during installation

1. Monitor

• Driver side on dash is a better signal monitoring location than the center of the dashboard

• Turn on/off monitor with the battery switch in the back side

• After switched on, the monitor will clear all prior readings and show “- -“ for each tire

• Turning on monitor after sensor installation may need up to two hours for sensor readings to

appear; the sensors send few signals when vehicle is not moving for saving battery power.

3. Sensor Installation First turn on the monitor and bring with you to the tire, and then simply screw each sensor on a valve stem in the order as indicated by one of the sensor ID vs. tire location mapping showed above. Upon power-up the monitor will show “- -“ for all tires – wait a few minutes after installing the sensors for tire readings to appear on the screen.
