Process of an emergency call
Enclosed, you will find 4 information cards for the recipient of the
emergency call. Fill in the card and pass them on to the people whose
call numbers you have stored as emergency numbers in your telephone.
In case of an emergency call, those people will then know what to do.
The telephone of the recipient must be set to the tone dialing mode
(DTMF).
If the recipient do not answers, the telephone dials the next number.
If an emergency call is accepted by a recipient but not acknowledged
using the 5 key (see above), the telephone classifies the emergency call
as not accepted and dials the next number.
If an emergency call is picked up an answering machine, the telephone
classifies the emergency call as not accepted and dials the next number.
Manually disrupting an emergency call
If you have accidentally triggered the emergency call, you can stop it again using
the following procedure.
Press repeatedly the star key * and the INT key.
Person seeking help
Press emergency key ( ! ) of the
handset.
The handset is automatically
switched to the handsfree mode.
End conversation:
Press the
key of the handset.
Recipient of an emergency call
DTMF-telephone is ringing. Pick-up
the handset. The emergency S.O.S.
signal-sequence is heard. Press
number key 5 (acknowledgement).
The emergency S.O.S. signal-
sequence is stopped.
