Loudspeaker, ringing tone and earpiece settings
On the handset
Loudspeaker Volume
Setting the loudspeaker volume (levels 1-5) in the telephones idle mode:
MENU Press the Menu key.
Choose Select 3 using the arrow key.
Select 3 Handset Tone Press the Select 3 key.
Select 1 Speaker Vol. Press the Select 1 key.
e.g. 2: The current volume level is displayed. Select
the desired level using the arrow or number
key.
OK Press the OK key.
Select further settings. Or
Press the R key to leave that menu level.
Setting the loudspeaker volume (levels 1-5) during a call:
Hands free is turned on.
e.g. 2: The current volume level is displayed. Select
the desired level using the arrow keys.
The volume is adjusted immediately.
Remark:
If you change the volume during a call, the change is only valid for the
duration of that call.

Emergency call mode
OK Press the OK key.
Select further settings. Or
Press the R key to leave that menu level.
Duration of active connection
The Duration of active connection is the time, in which the emergency
number is dialled, the telephone called and the S.O.S. tone sequence played
back. Example: The telephones default setting is 90 seconds. The S.O.S.
tone sequence is played for this entire time (although it can only be heard
when the call is accepted). If a recipient answers the call after 60 seconds, he
will hear the S.O.S. tone sequence for a maximum of another 30 seconds.
You can set a duration from 30  99 seconds. Do not select too short a
duration, so that the tone sequence will still be heard, if there is a delay in the
handset of the telephone called being lifted.
MENU Press the Menu key.
Choose Select 5 using the arrow key.
Select 5 Emergen Call Press the Select 5 key.
Enter PIN Enter the 4-digit PIN.
OK Press the OK key.
Choose Select 5 using the arrow key.
Select 5 Duration Press the Select 5 key.
e.g. 90 The set duration is displayed. Delete figures
using the right display key. Enter the desired
duration (30  99 seconds) using the number
keys.
OK Press the OK key.
Select further settings. Or
Press the R key to leave that menu level.
