Making an internal call
Internal calls are calls to other handsets. They are free of charge.
Press the intercom key.
e.g. 2 Enter the internal call number of the handset.
When the other party answers, you can speak
to them.
Press the Lift / Replace key to end the call.
Accepting a call
The handset and the base station ring. The Lift / Replace key on the
handset and the light on the base station flash.
Press the Lift / Replace key.
Or ...
simply lift the handset from the base station,
if the function Auto Hook is enabled, see
Page 54).
For as long as the call is shown in the display, you can accept it using the
Lift / Replace key.
For details on setting the earpiece volume (including during a call) see Page
32.
For details of ringing tones, see Page 32 and 35.
Dialling the call number transmitted by the last
incoming call
The call number of the caller appears in the display, if you have enabled the
CLIP - Call number identifcation function with your network operator. You
can view the call number and also dial it.

OK Press the OK key.
Select further settings. Or
Press the R key to leave that menu level.
Turning Auto Hook on / off
With this function turned on, you only need to lift the handset from the base
station / charging unit to accept a call. By default, Auto Hook is turned off.
MENU Press the Menu key.
Choose Select 7 using the arrow key.
Select 7 Handset Set Press the Select 7 key.
Choose Select 3 using the arrow key.
Select 3 Auto Hook Press the Select 3 key.
e.g. On Select Off or On using the arrow key.
OK Press the OK key.
Select further settings. Or
Press the R key to leave that menu level.
Setting the display language
You can change the language for display messages on a handset.
MENU Press the Menu key.
Choose Select 7 using the arrow key.
Select 7 Handset Set Press the Select 7 key.
Choose Select 4 using the arrow key.
Select 4 Language Press the Select 4 key.
