The Grip Frame
To disassemble the Grip Frame from the Receiver, follow step 4 on page 19.
1. For the following instructions, refer to Figure 18 on the previous page.
2. Remove the Grip Covers from the Grip Frame, see page 18 step 3 and 3.a.
3. Rotate the Selector Switch (46) clockwise past the Safe position, until the Selector
arm is in the next position after the Safe position. Pull the Selector Switch out from the
left side of the Grip Frame assembly.
4. Remove the Air Supply Adapter (ASA) Screws (48) using a 1/8” Allen wrench. Pull
the ASA (49) straight down to remove, taking extra care to not damage the O-rings on
the end of the Gas Line (39).
Reassemble the Grip Frame
1. Apply Tippmann grease to all O-rings on the Gas Line (39). Install the Gas Line into
the Grip Frame (37).
2. Push the ASA (49) straight up into the Grip Frame, taking extra care to not damage the
O-rings on the end of the Gas Line. Reinstall the ASA Screws (48) using a 1/8” Allen
wrench.
3. Insert the Trigger assembly into the Grip Frame assembly from the top.
4. Reinstall the Selector Switch (46), aligning the indicator with the position clockwise
past Safe, and then inserting it into the left side of the Grip Frame. Rotate the Safety
counterclockwise to Safe mode.
5. Reinstall the Electronics (44) to the Grip Frame using screws removed in previous
disassembly. Connect the solenoid wire harnesses to the J1 connector. It will only go in
one way, so do not force it into the connector. Connect the ex circuit into J6 with the
gold ngers towards the upper receiver.
6. Reinstall the 9V Battery. The battery should only go in properly oriented, but make sure
the positive terminal goes to the right when inserting the battery. Never force the battery
into the compartment!
7. Reinstall the Grip Covers (60) with two screws (61) for each side.
The Firing Valve Block
The Firing Valve is attached to the underside of the Receiver. It consists of items 10 through
18. To disassemble the Firing Valve, do the following:
1. Remove Screw (22) and the Firing Valve Body (11) comes loose from the Receiver.
2. Inspect O-Rings (10) for damage and replace if necessary.
3. The Magnet (13) remains secured to the Firing Valve Body only when the trigger is
present. The magnet is attracted to the front adjuster screw on the trigger and will fall
out if the trigger is taken out.
4. The Pins (19) hold the Trigger (21) and Trigger Linkage (18) in place. Remove the
pins to remove the Trigger, then the remove the Linkage.
5. Remove the Trigger Pin (17) to access the Trigger Pin Plug (16), Valve Core (15),
and O-Rings (14). Inspect O-Rings and replace if worn or damaged.
6. To reinstall the Firing Valve Body, align three O-Rings (10) into recessed areas in the
bottom of the Receiver. Hold the Firing Valve Body against the Receiver (align the pin of
the Receiver with the hole in the Firing Valve Body) and secure with the Screw (22).
The Trigger Assembly
1. The Magnet should not be taken out of the Trigger Assembly (21).
2. Inspect
Set Screw and Spring (20) for damage; if necessary, replace the entire Trigger
assembly. The Set Screw should never be adjusted, if it is adjusted too far, the Trigger
could break.
