Getting Started
• Eyeprotectiondesignedforpaintballusemustbewornbytheuserandanyperson
withinrange.
• Donotdisassemblethismarkerwhileitispressurizedwithair.
• Donotpressurizeapartiallyassembledmarker.
• Readeachstepcompletelybeforeperformingthestep.
NOTE:Carefullyhandstartallthreadedpartswhenassembling,anddonotovertighten,as
thismaypotentiallystripthethreadedparts.RefertothePartsDiagram(pages24and25)for
theseinstructions(itemnumbersareinparentheses).
1. Marker Preparation
FormarkerswithE-GripyoumustrstreadandfollowtheE-GripOperatingInstructions
(pages10-14)beforeinstallingtheAir/CO2cylinder(step2below).
2. Air/CO2 Cylinder Installation
ReadtheAir/CO2 Cylinder Warnings, Safety Tips, and Removal instructions (pages14-
16)beforebeginningthecylinderinstallation.Donotpressurizeapartiallyassembledpaintball
marker.
a. PuttheSelectorSwitchinSafemode(page6)andinstallthebarrelblockingdevice
(page4).
b. PutthemarkerinthecockedpositionbypullingtheCockingHandlealltheway
back(whitearrow)untilyouhearitclick.ThenreleasetheCockingHandle.The
CockingHandleslidesforward.(Theinternal
CockingHandlespringkeepstheCocking
Handleintheforwardposition.)Themarker
isnowcocked.Alwayskeepthemarkerin
thecockedpositionwheneverattaching
theair/CO2supply to the marker. This helps
prevent an accidental discharge.
c. Lubricatetheair/CO2cylindervalveO-ring
withalittleTippmannmarkeroil.
d. Inserttheair/CO2cylindervalveintotheAirSupplyAdapter(ASA)(33)attheback
endofthemarkergrip.
e. Twisttheair/CO2cylinderclockwiseintotheASAuntilitstops.Usecautionasthe
markerisnowcapableofringafteryouputtheSelectorSwitchinFiremode.If
theair/CO2cylinderisfull,andyoudonotheartheair/CO2supplyengage,the
pinvalvecouldbetooshortorthepinvalvesealisdamaged.FollowtheAir/CO2
Cylinder Removal
instructions(page15-16)andcontactTippmannSports,LLC,
yourlocalpaintballdealer,ora“C5”CertiedAirsmith.
3. Loading the Hopper and Cyclone Feed System
Thebarrelblockingdevicemustbeinstalled(page4)andtheSelectorSwitchinSafemode
(page6).
a. MakesurethattheCycloneFeedSystem(CFS)housingiscleanandfreeofdebris.
MakesuretheCyclone’sinternalarmsturnfreelywhentheManualAdvanceLever
ispushed(Figure3).
