3. Firing Your Marker
a. Theuserandanypersonwithinrangemusthaveeye,face,andearprotection
designedspecicallytostoppaintballs(intheformofgogglesandfullfacemask
meetingASTMSpecicationF1776).
b. Gotoadesignatedringarea,removethebarrelblockingdevice,andmovethe
TriggerSafetytoFiremode(seepage6).
c. Pointyourmarkerinasafedirectionandpullthetriggertorethemarker.
d. Whennishedringthemarker,puttheTriggerSafetyinSafemode(page6)and
installthebarrelblockingdevice(page4).
4. Velocity Adjustment
Eachtimeyouplaypaintball,checkthevelocityofyour
paintballmarkerwithachronograph(aninstrumentfor
measuringvelocity)priortoplayingpaintball.Verifythat
themarkersvelocityissetbelow300feetpersecond
(orlessifrequiredbytheplayingeld).
Toadjustthemarkersvelocity,usetheincluded3/16”
allenwrench.Thevelocityadjustmentscrewislocated
onleftsidereceiver.Toreducethevelocity,turnthescrewinwardorclockwise.Toincrease
thevelocity,turnthescrewoutorcounterclockwise.Donotremovethevelocityscrew.
Unloading Your Marker
Alwaysunloadyourmarkerwheneveritisnotinuse.Eyeprotectiondesignedforpaintball
usemustbewornbytheuserandanyonepersonwithinrange.PuttheTriggerSafetyinSafe
mode(seepage6)andinstallthebarrelblockingdevice(seepage4).
Emptythehopperofpaintballs.Removethehopperbylooseningthehopperscrew.When
reassembling,donotovertightenthisscrewastheFeedElbowmaybreak.Analternative
methodforunloadingthemarkeristopressdowntheFrontSightandreleasetheFeed
Elbow.RemovetheFeedElbowandHopperfromthemarker.
Gotoadesignatedringarea,removethebarrelblockingdevice,andputtheTriggerSafety
inFiremode.
Pointthemarkerinasafedirectionandreseveraltimestobesuretherearenopaintballs
lodgedinthechamberorbarrel.IMPORTANT:Donotuncockyourmarker.Uncockingthe
markermaypushanunseenpaintballintothechamberorintothebarrel.
PuttheTriggerSafetyinSafemodeandreplacethebarrelblockingdevice.
Visuallyinspectthechamberforpaintballs.
